just wanted to start a friendly competition on who could achieve the highest speed that they possibly could, i personally have gotten 105mph before backing off of the throttle due to lack of space. i'd love to hear anybody elses numbers!

Wow, that's nice. Are you pegged at the 6500 rpm rev limit at that speed? Do we need more prop pitch? Think I'll need to have some higher rpm engines or different gearboxes to let us use props that aren't pitched to such extremes.

You can go all the way up to 45 pitch now, by the way. The limit before was 40.

as of now im running 42 pitch props, the boat revs until about 6250 until i have to pull back from excessive chine walk. i dont think we will need any more prop pitch, seems to be good (for me).

123mph

Might break that now since I just read that prop pitch can increase further.

I'll post my setup. I basically turn the boat into a flatbottom.
