just wanted to start a friendly competition on who could achieve the highest speed that they possibly could, i personally have gotten 105mph before backing off of the throttle due to lack of space. i'd love to hear anybody elses numbers!

i think that the gauges in the external view would be a very nice addition, and thank you its been a little bit of s struggle to get there, but i feel that the boat has more in it. i havent tinkered much with the pad or the chines much because much like you said they tend to mess up the handling of the boat fairly quickly, the only adjustment that ive made is to make the pad bigger and it seems to have been somewhat beneficial
a little update on the handling of the boat it likes to chinewalk from 80-105 but its slight and not very excessive. i could maybe decrease the size of the boat and try to really finesse the handling for that extra 2 mph to hit 115.

also i read what you said on facebook that mercury came out with the 400r...and this got me thinking about the current engines in the game, do they all have different power to weight ratios? for example if i changed my 300hp outboard that i have now to a 225 would the game acutally recognize the change and manipulate the weight of the outboard on the back or is it one set weight for all of the engines? that 400 does sound fun though...

I might need to make a 120 mph speedometer at the rate you're going!

All the engines weigh the same in the simulator: 500 lb. I had looked up the weights of one brand of engines and they were all really close together so I just called them all 500 to make it simple. It might be nice to have some variation in there, I'll jot that down on my "to do" list for later on down the road.

I.e., the only difference between the engines is the torque/power curve and the stickers. Weight and center of gravity location, etc., is all the same otherwise.

sorry that i couldnt get back to you sooner, but thanks. i had somewhat assumed thats what it was due to just the feel of the boat and how it handled and ran.
that 120 mph speedo would be pretty nice but i inevitably know id be relentless to break it.
keep up the great work on the game btw

Excellent. 😀 I've had a few people asking what the record is. I've been telling them 113 but will go to 115.
