Because I couldn't find a way to contact you (developer) in the problems section I thought i'd start a thread as that seemed to be my only option to send you my errors at this point.

Sounds good. Another option is to reply to the sales email you were sent. Either sales or support (at) speedboatsim.com works. What problems are you having?

I had one email report today from somebody reporting periodic crashes. I opened up task manager and sure enough, every time you switch back and forth between the design screen and the water, a few more megabytes of RAM are used. The object count increases for some reason that I haven't figured out yet, so if you do it enough times to use up all your RAM then the program would be expected to crash.

Have you happened to notice if the crashes you get only happen after you've been playing a long time, especially if you've been switching back and forth between the design and water scenes a lot? Glen Canyon is huge and uses a lot more memory, so if this is indeed the main problem you and the other person are having, it'd be expected to happen more quickly at Glen Canyon than Lotus Lake. If you notice a pattern there, it'd help if you can let me know.

My system is maxed out at 32GB of RAM so I could probably switch back and forth between the screens for hours on end and not even come close to running out of memory. Somebody with a more typical amount of RAM is likely to run into it more quickly.

On the other hand, if it just crashes a few minutes in no matter what you're doing, then this suggests some other problem. If you notice anything specific, it'd be good to know.

Also, if you get a chance to send one of the crash logs, that'd be helpful. All I really need to see is the output_log file from a time when the program crashed, but if you want to zip up one of those crash folders and send it along, that'd be fine too.

Thanks for your help!

A new patch went up yesterday. Hopefully that'll fix the problem.
